medium_rodrigo_200x150.jpg Rodrigo starts his Abut in his blog with “I have over 10 years experience in the Internet space”. Well, in internet that is actually quite a long time…Rodrigo currently runs a new venture called vpod.tv that he co-founded and is CEO of. vpod.tv is a video publishing on demand service that just raised $5.1 million. Rodrigo has previously co-founded RISC Partners, a private small equity firm in Paris and was involved in the start up of Glowria.fr (online rental of DVD) as interim CEO.

Early 2006 we did an event with Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet, founder and CEO of the French trading site PriceMinister.

L@C Evening Cocktail Wednesday January 10

A reminder about this week’s informal get-together: Evening drinks in the bar at Le Cercle Suédois (address above). There is no speaker, just an opportunity to meet some other L@C people, as well as some others (the Cercle Suédois has an open house this evening so there will be plenty of other people too). There will be a jazz band playing with a singer (she also doubles as director for the Cercle Suédois…). These evenings usually bring together 10-15 L@C participants.

– Starting at 19.00. Drinks and snacks as you wish in the bar

– The Cercle Suédois will charge a small entrance fee (5 or 8 euro I think)

– No pre-registration required.
